Due to the very nature of our work, our projects can have a considerable effect on the environment. So at Grace Peters, we take our environmental responsibilities very seriously.
Grace Peters has a proven Environmental Management System to ensure that all of our work practices reduce, as much as possible, any negative impact on the environment. Our system takes a sophisticated approach, ensuring we have access to several methods and tools.
Grace Peters’ Environmental Management System is certified to AS/NZS 14001. Measuring, analysing, reviewing and monitoring our environmental management processes allows us to continuously improve. Everything from painting and demolition control methods to habitat protection practices are monitored, reviewed and adapted to meet site-specific parameters, ensuring we always deliver the best possible solution.
Our Environmental Managers are responsible for ensuring all our staff are up to date on our environmental protection, waste reduction, water conservation, and greenhouse gas reduction policies, and are qualified to put them into practice.
Regular training and specialised site inductions ensure staff stay up to date with the latest environmental management techniques. Our policy is that all staff should be able to identify and manage environmental issues and take care in avoiding environmental accidents.
Grace Peters has an excellent record in environmental management, however as new projects create new challenges, we are constantly developing new techniques and approaches.
